What is Microneedling?
The Eclipse MicroPen is a dermal microneedling device that penetrates the skin to treat and improve facial imperfections, such as acne scarring, pigmentations, fine lines and wrinkles, as well as skin texture and tone.
How Does it Work?
A topical hyaluronic gel is applied to clean skin. This is a lubricating product that helps the MicroPen glide across your skin creating superficial micro-injuries, or channels, designed to ultimately improve your skin condition upon re-epithelialization. The pen is then gently laid across the skin and simultaneously guided in one direction until the desired treatment area is fully covered.
While the micro-channels in the skin are still open, topical agents are applied, which penetrate deep into the skin layers, to further enhance and treat your skin condition. A ZO Skin brightening serum or PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) may be applied after micro-needling.
